Wavern Dean

Recently we prisoners at Lakeland Correctional Facility were able to enjoy a concert by award-winning christian recording artist Wavern Dean. He and his wife Janae, through their full-time prison ministry 'Inside Prison Ministry', have devoted their time and talents to reaching out to men and women in prison. It was a real blessing to have them and another couple come and share a Saturday with us. Of course, the experience of an actual professional musician coming into prison was a real treat! These people have big hearts for the often unforgotten people in prison, and they are super-talented as well. Janae writes many of the songs and she obviously has a clear understanding of the hearts and struggles of people in prison.
